The Pet Sitting Certification is an online course which has been broken down into twenty three manageable and information packed modules, which should take around fifteen hours to complete. The course covers everything you need to know about setting up and running your own successful pet sitting business.

During your online studies, you enjoy the convenience of online support and the ability to study using any device with online modules you can access at any time from anywhere. You get to study at your own pace with no schedules, so you can still work full time while preparing to start your own business on the side and in the future.

On successful completion of the course, you will need to complete the multiple-choice test, which questions you on things you will have learned throughout the twenty three modules. On passing, you will gain immediate access to your certificate, which you can then download and print.

  • Identify with day to day pet sitting, including how long you need to allocate for each dog walk, the order you need to use when taking care of each pet and time to set aside between appointments.
  • Learn how to transport animals safely.

FAQ's

  • Who can take the course?

    Anyone who has an interest in gaining a greater understanding of this subject is encouraged to take the course. There are no entry requirements to take the course.

  • What is the structure of the course?

    The course is broken down in to 23 individual modules. Each module takes between 15 and 30 minutes on average to study. Although you are free to spend as much or as little time as you feel necessary on each module, simply log in and out of the course at your convenience. At the end of each module there is a 5 question test to ensure that you have fully understood all of the training material included within. You must get at least 4/5 of the questions on the test correct before you can progress to the next module.

  • Where / when can I study the course?

    You can study the course any time you like. Simply log in and out of the web based course as often as you require. The course is compatible with all computers, tablet devices and smart phones so you can even study while on the move!

  • Is there a test at the end of the course?

    Once you have completed all 23 modules there is a 50 multiple choice question test. The questions will be on a range of topics found within the 23 modules. The test, like the course, is online and can be taken a time and location of your choosing.

  • What happens if I fail the test?

    If you don’t pass the test first time you will get a second opportunity to take the test again after further study.

  • When will I receive my certificate?

    Once you have completed your test you can log in to your account and download / print your certificate any time you need it. If you would prefer us to post you a certificate there will be an admin charge of £10.

  • How can I pay?

    We use Paypal for all payments on the site. You can either use your Visa, MasterCard ,American Express, Solo cards or PayPal account to pay for the online course. All payments are handled securely by Paypal. We also accept bank transfer (BACs). Please contact us for more information about this payment method.

  • Is my payment secure?

    As previously mentioned your payment is totally secure. We don’t get to see your payment details.

  • How long after payment can I begin the course?

    You can begin the course immediately after your payment has been received. You create your own username and password during the registration process. You can log in to the course right away with these details. You will also receive an email confirming your log in details as soon as your payment has been accepted. If you don’t get this email please check your junk folder, failing that please contact us for further assistance.

  • How long is my certificate valid for?

    There is no expiry or renewal fees

  • Can I use your logo on my website / promotional material?

  • How long does it take to complete the pet sitting diploma course?

    We estimate that the course will take about 10 hours to complete in total, plus an additional 30 minutes for the end of course test.
