Russian is one of the most interesting and rich languages in the world. Russian culture has a big part in philosophy, literature, and music, and is the most spoken language of Slavic descent. An official language of the United Nations, and the language of the largest country in the world, Russia is a useful language to know. Many people who speak Russian speak only Russian - a great reason to learn the language and begin communicating with the millions of speakers in Russia and around the world.
Learning a whole new alphabet, the Cyrillic alphabet, may seem like an overwhelming task. However, with our broken-down modules and slow but steady learning pace, you will know the alphabet like the back of your hand before long. Not to mention, the Cyrillic language is used in more languages than just Russian, so it's definitely a useful thing to learn. Being the most spoken of all the Slavic languages, Russian is also a great foundation to other languages. Learning Czech, Ukrainian, Bulgarian, and even Polish will be much easier if you've already learned Russian!

- Basic conversation skills in Russian
- How to count to 100 in Russian, as well as identify times, days, and months
- About several of the most common verbs in Russian and how to conjugate
- A wide variety of useful Russian vocabulary

Anyone who has an interest in learning more about this subject matter is encouraged to take the course. There are no entry requirements to take the course.
The course is broken down into 0 individual modules. Each module takes between 20 and 90 minutes on average to study. Although you are free to spend as much or as little time as you feel necessary on each module, simply log in and out of the course at your convenience.
You can study the course any time you like. Simply log in and out of the web based course as often as you require. The course is compatible with all computers, tablet devices and smart phones so you can even study while on the move!
Once you have completed all 0 modules there is a multiple choice test. The questions will be on a range of topics found within the 0 modules. The test, like the course, is online and can be taken a time and location of your choosing.
The pass mark for the test is 70%.
If you don’t pass the test first time you will get further opportunities to take the test again after extra study. There are no limits to the number of times you can take the test. All test retakes are included within the price of the course.
You can either use your Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Solo cards or PayPal account to pay for the online course. Our site uses the latest SSL encryption to ensure your safety. All payments are handled securely by PayPal.
You can begin the course immediately after your payment has been received. You will create your login details during the checkout process. We will also send you an email confirming your login details.
We estimate that the course will take about 3 hours to complete in total, plus an additional 30 minutes for the end of course test.
Once you have been awarded your certificate it is valid for life. The certificate does not expire or need renewing.
I have really enjoyed doing the receptionist course online and I recommend anyone that wants to improve in whatever qualifications they wish to progress in to do it on New Skills Academy. It is very helpful and I have learnt a lot - My family members couldn’t believe how much I have progressed and they have actually said that they will probably do the courses online themselves. After much searching, I stumbled across this online course which sounded perfect for what I wanted and was available at a very affordable cost. This is the first time I have taken an online course, so wasn’t sure what to expect or if my money was going to be well spent.
The course is great, it was very easy to follow with simple, clear instructions and the additional use of video demonstrations that I found extremely helpful. It was handy to be able to print off all the course modules to keep for future reference and nice to receive a certificate upon completion.

I found this way of learning perfect for me, as I could study at my own pace in the comfort of my home. Being dyslexic, I enjoyed studying the modules in my own time. Support always on hand if needed, plus a bonus of being able to print off each module to add my own notes.
Easy to use layout of the course, allowed myself to swiftly go through each module, with a small test at the end of each module before moving on, making sure the knowledge had sunk in! With a final Test at the end to complete the Diploma. I would recommend this site to others, looking to add to their skill set.

I have been Training with SEN for a year as a trainee and fallen in love with this profession and the development of children in early years. This is a great course for any level of knowledge. Very easy to navigate, great practical tasks and explanations are very clear. You can revise any module with no problem. The test wasn’t too hard if you completed every module. It may be handy to make some notes before you start. Overall I'm very happy with my choice. Thank you New skills for my New skills :)
