Anyone who has an interest in learning more about this subject matter is encouraged to take the course. There are no entry requirements to take the course.
The course is broken down into 5 individual modules. Each module takes between 20 and 90 minutes on average to study. Although you are free to spend as much or as little time as you feel necessary on each module, simply log in and out of the course at your convenience.
You can study the course any time you like. Simply log in and out of the web based course as often as you require. The course is compatible with all computers, tablet devices and smart phones so you can even study while on the move!
Once you have completed all 5 modules there is a multiple choice test. The questions will be on a range of topics found within the 5 modules. The test, like the course, is online and can be taken a time and location of your choosing.
The pass mark for the test is 70%.
If you don’t pass the test first time you will get further opportunities to take the test again after extra study. There are no limits to the number of times you can take the test. All test retakes are included within the price of the course.
You can either use your Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Solo cards or PayPal account to pay for the online course. Our site uses the latest SSL encryption to ensure your safety. All payments are handled securely by PayPal.
You can begin the course immediately after your payment has been received. You will create your login details during the checkout process. We will also send you an email confirming your login details.
We estimate that the course will take about 6 hours to complete in total, plus an additional 30 minutes for the end of course test.
Once you have been awarded your certificate it is valid for life. The certificate does not expire or need renewing.
I’m a property investor and I have an interest in property generally. I wanted to do this course to broaden my knowledge of property but also make sure I understand my rights as a buyer of property. This is a nice introduction to the profession of Estate Agency but also negotiation and building networks. It includes material on both residential and commercial property, and also property maintenance. It touches upon the Estate Agents Act 1979 which is very important. My next step will be to review the act. It is a very broad course and is a good place to start.

I can honestly say that I have truly enjoyed learning about Microsoft Excel.
The step by step modules (36 of them!), breaking down each part of Excel was easy to understand and absorb. The explanations of each stage was handy for notes as well. The videos were helpful for directions and practise. The worksheets were helpful to put learning into action.
The test at the end was very good in covering many aspects of Excel, however I would have liked to know what I did not get correct. This would have been helpful.
However, I would gladly use a New Skills Academy course again.

Having just completed the Dyslexia Diploma in a few days I can honestly say I now have a much better knowledge of the condition and it gave me so much detail and information to learn in order to use in my teaching job. Thanks to this course I can take my career in a new and improved direction. After sustaining injuries where I have to be wheelchair bound I thought career prospects were slim. But now I have qualified I have hope again.
This course is amazingly well structured in such a way that it enabled me to memorise everything and in my own time, and explained in terms everyone could understand, the modules were short and to the point with very little un-needed information and at a great price too!
Online support staff were amazing they couldn't help enough. Messages were sent within 20 minutes and were extremely accurate. The final exam was easy and gave me plenty of time to complete with 30 questions and 30 minutes to answer (although only 10 minutes were needed) after ordering my certificate it was delivered within 48 hours. It looks amazing and the quality is great too.

The course was easy to find on the website, and plenty of information regarding course modules, outcomes and any frequently asked questions. There is plenty of choices for a range of courses, which made it harder for me to decide what course I wanted to pursue! The price of the courses are reasonable and doing it in your own time while in employment is a plus for myself. Trying to find time while in full time work is hard in itself, but having a good provider online it has opened the door for me to learn new things and expand my knowledge.
