You’ve probably been giving presentations all your life. They often start children early in primary school, having them get up in front of the class to present something small. Then, perhaps you presented a research paper or an academic study. In adult life, presentations are no less ubiquitous. Sometimes they can be less formal, but, depending on the type of work that you are in, the odds could be high that you would have to present something. No matter what stage of life you’re in, you’re likely to be asked to present in front of people, and this can be an intimidating prospect for many of us.
This course outlines the steps that you can take to make you feel comfortable and confident giving a presentation. Firstly, we go through what makes a good presentation, so that you know what to aim for. Next, we go over how to properly prepare for a presentation. We learn some do’s and don’ts, talk about engaging your audience and give some tips on how you can practise public speaking. This course is sure to help you be more confident speaking in front of people. One of the reasons why giving a presentation can be scary is that people don’t know the steps to take for it to go right. Well, you have come to the right place to find out.

Anyone who has an interest in learning more about this subject matter is encouraged to take the course. There are no entry requirements to take the course.
The course is broken down into 1 individual modules. Each module takes between 20 and 90 minutes on average to study. Although you are free to spend as much or as little time as you feel necessary on each module, simply log in and out of the course at your convenience.
You can study the course any time you like. Simply log in and out of the web based course as often as you require. The course is compatible with all computers, tablet devices and smart phones so you can even study while on the move!
Once you have completed all 1 modules there is a multiple choice test. The questions will be on a range of topics found within the 1 modules. The test, like the course, is online and can be taken a time and location of your choosing.
The pass mark for the test is 70%.
If you don’t pass the test first time you will get further opportunities to take the test again after extra study. There are no limits to the number of times you can take the test. All test retakes are included within the price of the course.
You can either use your Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Solo cards or PayPal account to pay for the online course. Our site uses the latest SSL encryption to ensure your safety. All payments are handled securely by PayPal.
You can begin the course immediately after your payment has been received. You will create your login details during the checkout process. We will also send you an email confirming your login details.
We estimate that the course will take about 0.75 hours to complete in total, plus an additional 30 minutes for the end of course test.
Once you have been awarded your certificate it is valid for life. The certificate does not expire or need renewing.
I have a BA in Creative Writing, and I learned a lot from this course on the specifics of writing fantasy. With interesting subject matter and a worksheets that you can adapt for future writing, this course was absolutely worth the investment. It also allowed me to develop my teaching CV through its accredited certificate. Great foundation for anyone looking into this area of employment or self employed as has great ideas and advice to build on. Have attended face to face courses which have much less information than this.
Lovely bite size quizzes on some modules which help to understand and enforce the contact of the bigger modules. End exam has a nice mixture of topics covered in the course. And has an option to re-sit if needed.

This is a great course for any level of knowledge. Very easy to navigate, great practical tasks and explanations are very clear. You can revise any module with no problem.
